Russell County Building New Speculative Building
RUSSELL SPRINGS, Ky. – The Russell County Industrial Development Authority is taking advantage of Southeast Kentucky Economic Development Corporation’s (SKED) Business and Technology Building Revolving Loan Fund to construct a new industrial speculative building in the French Valley Business Park. McGaha is Newest SKED Board Member
Darryl McGaha’s years of experience in the manufacturing field and his current position as workforce development director for the Lake Cumberland Area Development District give him a unique perspective into the day-to-day struggles of the region’s manufacturers and small business owners and prepare him perfectly for his newest role as a director for the Southeast Kentucky Economic Development Corporation (SKED) Board of Directors. Workshop in Floyd County


The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development is hosting three workshops in July entitled: “Economic Development in Kentucky: 2008 Update.”

Cabinet representatives from the following areas will present information at the workshops: New Business Development, Existing Business Development, Financial Incentives and Commercialization & Innovation.

The final workshop is set to begin at 9 a.m. July 23 at Jenny Wiley State Park in Prestonsburg, Ky.
